I write content
for the future of search
AI search and AI SEO are changing how content gets discovered. I’ve spent the past few years working closely with this shift, and understanding how content gets surfaced inside large language models (LLMs) like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and more.
How I approach AI SEO:
Search Intent
Search intent still drives search, even in LLMs. I start with the core query, then build out the related questions and follow-ups so the content reflects how people search across AI tools.
On-Page SEO
Traditioanl SEO fundamentals still carry a lot of weight. If the structure is off or keywords aren’t adhered to, the content won’t get indexed or ranked, regardless of where it’s meant to show up.
Structure & Formatting
Structure plays a big role in AI SEO. I know what these tools like to see, and what kinds of information they are more likely to surface in their answers.
Content Hierarchy
Not everything on the page matters equally, and AI systems don’t read top to bottom the way people do. I structure content so the key ideas are immediately clear, with supporting detail layered underneath.
Depth
For content to show up in AI answers, the answer needs to be fully there. I know how to build a section that stands on its own, even when it’s taken out of the full article.
Authority & Credibility
AI tools favor content that feels credible. I’ve spent years writing for major publications and high-traffic blogs, and I bring that same level of clarity and authority to every piece.
